Cleveland Sweeps LA

Friday, January 22nd, 2010

So the game on TNT last night was
the Cavs vs the Lakers.

And the CLEVELAND Cavaliers
swept the Lakers in regular season play.

How awesome is that.

So sick of hearing about Kobey.

Hopefully the Cadaviliers will take
it all the way this year.

In hearing Lebron James talk about who
the Lakers secured to guard him
in the offseason, Ron Artest, “He is a strong
player with quick hands and quick feet.”

“But if he one ups me down on HIS side
of the court, I will for sure try and get him
on MY side of the court.”

STOP.

Let’s talk quick feet.

My junior year I wanted to work
quick feet. So I began a routine
that later became known
as Linebacker Fitness.

The exercises I teach in it will give
you quick feet.

I knew I had to improve. Whispers were coach
was talking about cutting back on
my playing time cause I was slow.

End result after training like a madman
this exercise all summer:
Two big sacks against Cincinnati.

End of season I had 19 tackles for a loss
all from giving myself
quick feet and more speed.

If you are on an athletic team
and want to be Lebron like quickness
and agility – train this exercise.

Get uncomfortably numb with moving
it in and around your body.  Do it everyday
and you will gain more speed and quickness
than you ever imagined possible.

No matter what sport you play, football, basketball,
hockey, soccer, lacrosse and so on – LB Fitness gives
you what you need to increase your speed, baby.

Run here now to check out what I.m
talking about.

Best,

Vince Palko

Make Fitness Your Refuge

Tuesday, September 15th, 2009

Last week I sat and listened to a tremendous
interview with Lebron James on Fresh Air with
Terry Gross.

In it, the super star athlete talked about
how his life was tough growing up.
And how the sport of basketball was his refuge
from the ills of society and hardships he
had to face.

Twas his escape.

If you listen to most high powered athletes they’d agree
that sports are therapeutic. There
is a natural high you get from moving your body
in space and competing with yourself and others.

It got me thinkin’ about fitness.

Many times in my past when faced with personal or professional
problems, instead of moaning about them to friends and fam,
I got my body moving and used the problems I faced as fuel to my workout.

I’d walk out to the high school field and drill exercises that
I did in an earlier chapter of my life.

For me, the field and the exercises were extremely
soothing to the woes happening around me.

These days my bike is my refuge.
There are many like it but this one is mine!

I mix the bike with what I call standing muscle building
exercises that blend isometric movements with isotonic ones.

Dont know what I mean?

Travel through hyperspace and read more about it here-
Win the Man Boob Battle.

This is the last week for the low, low investment in
a course that is worth double even triple what I am charging.

So make fitness and exercise your refuge
if your life seems a bit tough or challenging right now.

Watch how your challenges dwindle in there complexity and heaviness.

Go here now… Upper Body Armour.

Best regards,

Vince Palko

A Win is a Win

Friday, May 29th, 2009

We are back in it… I love when people say “WE” when referring
to their favorite sports team.

Who’s we? You got a mouse in your pocket?

So I will join other fans and say …. Yes, WE, the Cleveland Cavs
extended the series and defeated the Magic last night at the Q.

The red hot 3 ball gun slingers of the Magic cooled off
just a bit. We got rebounds and Lebron was sensational
in being responsible for 30 some last shots scored in the game.
He either assisted or scored the points himself.

Wow.

Then you have the analysts, or should I say critics, after the game
who said, “The Cavs should be discouraged with their effort.”

“Too much pressure was put on Lebron.”

“He cant do that the next two games.”

Excuse me, when have I ever been discouraged after a win.

Where I come from a win is a win. Don’t matter how
ugly or pretty it was. It counts in the record books.

The Cavs extended the series. They are building momentum.
The outside shooters showed improvement. Who knows
how the next game will go. No two games I’ve watched in
the series have been the same so far. So why would you expect
this next one to be.

Many people wrote the Cavs off.

Before the game, I wrote on my Facebook wall
“Anything can happen on any given Saturday.”
Thats what we always thought and believed stepping on the turf playing football.

Well, anything can happen on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
and yes, Thursday too.

What about Friday? Sure, throw that day in there as well.

When you apply this mentality to your life, you will
be dumbfounded with how your life begins to flow
and open up with career opportunities, relationships,
unexpected cash appearing.

Start everyday with “Something good is going to surprise me TODAY.”

Do this while driving in your car.

While walking to the train station.

Waiting in line at the coffee shop.

Do this and watch how your life changes.

When you really believe this and practice it
consistently, soon little things miracles will appear
out of no where.

Have fun with it.

Until then understand a win is a win no matter how you
slice it.

So go WIN the day- baby!

Regards,

Vince Palko

Stop counting reps and do this

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I enjoyed watching the Eastern division playoffs
the other night when the Cavs came from behind
to put a woopin’ on Atlanta.  Lebron simply kicked
major league ass.

Yes, I might lose some readers after
that last comment, but it was well worth it
to get my point across.

Anything he wanted to do, he did.

In the interview after the game
he was asked a certain question
that garnered a response of, “Well, this is
what its all about the NBA playoffs.
Its what I think about when I’m training
hard in the offseason.”

Stop. Stop right there.

Its what he “thinks about in the offseason.”

That smells to me a little like our good friend visual-me-zation.

Imagination.

Think time.

Or whatever the heck you feel comfortable callin it.

So while others are thinking about
getting through their workouts, Lebron is picturing
soaring over dudes to slam it for two or draining
a fade away jumper.  He is picturing making a difficult shot with
three guys are trying to trap him.

He devotes thinking time while his body is training.

He is not focused on his training.

His mind is somewhere in the future while his body
trains in the studio.

So that begs teh question.

What do you think about when you train.

Do you focus on the number of reps and trying
to beat your previous best, or is your mind dreaming.

I go against what most trainers advise you to do.

The reps are NOT as important as where your mind is.

Project yourself into the future and its only natural
your body follows. Its kinda like the Stretch Armstrong
cartoons wherein his head would take off 50 yards in
front of him, go around a corner and then eventually
his body would catch up.

Lead your body with the thoughts you keep
in your mind.  See the thinner you. See the healthier
you. See the stronger you.

Stop counting reps.

Stop beating your personal best.

All that will follow when you focus your mind
on a healthier, stronger, more vibrant you!
Only, there wont be any struggle with the way
I am teaching.

Get after it!

Ciao for now,

Vince Palko

Lebron Signs with the Browns

Wednesday, January 21st, 2009

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MreJaUgiIfo

Did you see the insurance commercial
showing Lebron signing with the Cleveland Browns.
The superbowl commercials are off to an interesting start already.
If you don’t know Lebron James – hes a the mega superstar
playing for the Cleveland Cavs.  This commercial plays
upon every Cleveland Browns’ fans wish; having a superstar athlete
on the football team. A REAL superstar to show up and revive the embarrassing organization.Okay, maybe not as embarrassing as Detroit.

But as I sat watching — jaw grazing the carpet –
and dreaming thats just what the Brownies need.

I crafted 8 reasons why Lebron may sign with the Brownies.

1) Lebron’s tall – average size of an NFL defensive back is 6’1″ maybe 6’2″…
Lebron is 6’8″ You do the math. Can you say … ‘Just lob one up to me baby!’

2) Unlike Michael Jordan who delved into baseball and layed an egg…
Lebron actually played football on high school and was good.

3) Lebron’s soft hands -  perfect for a tall flanker compared to the stone mits many of the Browns receivers have- not to mention any names Braylon “butter fingers” Edwards.

4) Lebron’s athleticism- maybe he does not have 4.2 speed but he does have athleticism.  All he needs to do is run a go route and again … ‘Just lob one up to me baby!’ No one will out leap or reach his stretchy arms. Not even

5) Re-ignite the city- The Cavs are kickin ass and now he can help the team who has struggled ever since Modell moved the team to Baltimore.
They now have a new coach.  And the Browns could save a draft pick
and sign Lebron as a free agent.

6) Leadership- even though he is what 24 now… his leadership skills
are unmatchable. He walks his talk and would unite the team with his winning attitude and direction.

7) Basketball on Grass – When a team passes a
ton the defense calls this strategy like ‘playing BASKETBALL on grass.’
Well, last I checked Lebro is pretty darn
talented in hoops. Browns can shift entire
offense to West Coast style – baby.

8) The Browns should try anything to spark
the teams success.  If he doesn’t work out – no biggie – better
than signing some young kid out of college who is most
likely to be a bust anyway.

But it will never happen. Or will it?

Now what does the above have to do with your
fitness or success? Well, maybe nothing. Maybe something
if you want to read super into things.
Its just me just ranting and having fun in email.

However, I do have a new Special Report,
entitled 43 Secrets to Stoke your Fat Blast Furnace
that is all about keeping you fit and happy.
People are climbing over each other (like a WHO concert) to get to.

Fulfillment says we are running low on
hard copies – so I’ll be taking the offer down soon and
pricing this at $35 when I order reprints.
So move man and woman – and grab yours
today while its still FREE.
