Received some bad news this AM.
A friend who was more of an acquaintance, played ball at BG about 10 years
before me, passed away at the tender age of 47.
Well, you could chalk it up as- no big deal. Just the circle of life spinning on.
The reason I share this with you is
the guy was in tremendous condition, but still had a heart attack
mowing his lawn yesterday.
Now, I know what you might be thinking.
Why even exercise, Vince. I mean this guy had a physique
most 20 year olds could only dream of.
Good question, my friend.
The truth is there are far more folks dying from
heart disease and other related diseases due to lack of exercise.
There could have been a heart defect or something
in my friend’s family history to cause his heart to fail. No one knows right now.
Dont know about you but, when I hear stories
like this – it makes me appreciate the BIG things
in life… like family and friends.
The other thing it does is make me want to get
out of my seat and exercise. Get my heart pumping
at a high level so that I make it stronger.
I hope it does you as well.
One exercise that is sure to make your heart
stronger along with other internal organs … not
to mention your entire musculature system is
