Brad asked me to draw a picture in his memory.
It’s been awhile since I broke out the paints, but thought I would to add some life to a pencil sketch.
Brad is a good friend. His mother passed when he was just a tot and his father raised three boys. His Dad passed away when Brad graduated college. Brad’s brothers ALL live out of town.
Brad always seemed to handle life’s challenges. He recently got divorced. Yet, through it all Brad’s inner man has stayed strong. He never whines or complains – just keeps pushing on.
I know how much Yogi meant to him and that’s why I took time out of my hectic schedule to paint this. I actually just got to it today.
My wife informs me there’s a heaven where pets go. I’m sure a lot of pet owners agree with her. For me, I’ve never really thought about it being that I never had to deal with losing one.
Growing up Dad wouldn’t allow ‘em in the house. He was allergic to the little fury friends. So pets, for me weren’t a big deal. However, I know how some people are attached to them. I’ve even heard of studies that say people with pets live longer. I believe a pet housing person wrote that study.
